GENERAL INFORMATION FOR HND PROGRAMS
- All candidates are expected to consult the institution’s prospectus on the website or in hard copy to ascertain their qualification for courses for which they are applying
- Candidates should not register for courses for which they do not have the requirements.
- The admission of the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro is provisional; ANYTIME it is discovered that a candidate registered for a programme for which he/she is not qualified or a candidate is in violation of any of the procedures and rules thereof the admission would be withdrawn.

SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Department: Office Technology and Management (Secretarial Studies).
SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
Departments: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering with options in: (i) Electrical Power and Machines, (ii) Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering, (iii) Instrumentation and Control.
Mechanical Engineering with options in: (i) Plant and Power Engineering Technology, (ii) Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
Departments: Architectural Technology, Building Technology, Estate Management and Valuation, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geoinformatics, Urban and Regional Planning.

Departments: Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Business Administration and Management, Marketing.
SCHOOL OF PURE AND APPLIED SCIENCE
Department: Computer Science.
Duration of all programmes: 6 Semesters in 24 calendar Months.
Requirements For Ilaropoly HND Full Time & Part-Time Programs
- Candidates must have nothing less than a lower credit with cgpa of nothing less than 2.50 or any of its equivalent and basic requirements for the National Diploma Programme in the discipline before applying.
- They must have gone through a one year industrial experience in their relevant field after the completion of their national diploma programmes.
- Academic Transcripts which should be sent (directly) by the student’s last Institution under confidential cover to: The Registrar, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro.
- They must perform excellently in the screening which will be initiated by the institution they are applying to.
- They must ensure they have a minimum of five credits at not more than two sittings in their relevant field of study.
Please note: All Candidates Are to ensure they upload a clear, clean and readable documents. Candidates who fails to upload a clean, clear and readable documents can lead to the forfeiture of their admission.
How To Apply For FedPoly Ilaro HND Admission
The application form for the higher national diploma programme is N12,800.
- Candidates shoud ensure they fill the Institution’s Application Form available online at: https://applications.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng/ They can also purchase this Admission form through the link.
- After the portal opens, click on applicant then after this, click on generate invoice.
- Ensure you take the invoice to any designated bank for payments.
- Go back to the portal, Ensure you click on Applicant, then click fill application form and fill the form you see after the instructions.
Please note that the invoice and RRR code must be obtained in the name of the applicant. The invoice must and should be obtained from the university portal only. The Invoice contains the RRR to be processed. The institution shall not be liable for complications that may arise when RRR is generated and payment is processed without going through her Portal.
- The banks For the transactions are: United Bank For Africa (UBA) Plc, WEMA Bank Plc, Polaris Bank, UNION Bank Plc, Ilaro Poly Micro-Finance Bank, Access Bank Plc, Zenith Bank Plc
Note: All candidates are to ensure they provide a new scratch card to check their result and they are to scratch the new scratch card and input the pin & serial number online.
The same scratch card are also to be submitted to THE DESK OFFICER, ADMISSIONS OFFICE DURING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION. Any candidates with invalid pin will be disqualified.
