The BECE timetable for the basic certificate examination (JSS 3) has been released by the NECO. According to the Council, the examination will commence soon but the actual time the examination will commence has not yet been announced.

However, the federal government has rolled out the schedule for the Basic Examination Certificate Examination for JSS 3 conducted by NECO, and the exam will start soon.
Anyway, all aspiring BECE Candidates should ensure they take note of the following things, they are as follows:
- Practical in Business Studies as well as Basic Science & Technology (BST) should be in sets where the number of candidates is large and the equipment cannot go round. However, the practical examination should not exceed 5.00 pm.
- Computers can be used in place of manual Typewriters for Business Studies.
- Albinos and Blind Candidates are to be given 30mins extra time in all subjects.
- Blind Candidates must make use of NECO-supplied OBR Customised Braille Sheet for the Examination.
