The Nigeria youth investment fund is a loan meant for the Nigeria youth.
This loan is provided by the federal republic of Nigeria for Nigeria youth in order to provide fund for them so as to see money they can use to establish themselves without waiting for whitecollars job.
This is a good innovation by the federal republic of Nigeria and this makes me to wonder that Nigeria government are really thoughtful. Of course, after the youth collect this loan, they will surely pay it back with little interest on it.
Any youth can borrow money up to 3 million naira as long as they have means to pay back. This money is meant to make Nigeria youths employers of labour, entrepreneurs & been business mogul.

Eligibility For NYIF Application Form 2022
Two sets of people are eligible to apply for this loan and they are;
A) Private Individuals / Non Registered Business
- These candidates must be between the age of 18 to 35 years of age.
- They must have a Bvn and a valid means of identification.
- Summary of business plan or completed questionnaire
- Entrepreneurship training certification from Fmysd entrepreneurship development institutes (EDI’s)
B) Registered Businesses
- Business plan summary or completed questionnaire
- Valid Bank Verification Number (BVN’s) of directors
- Provision of tax identification number
- Entrepreneurship training certification from Fmysd entrepreneurship development institutes (EDI’s)
- Formal business enterprises (Youth owned enterprises) duly registered with the corporate affairs commission).
Requirements For NYIF Application Form
√ Applicants must have a valid bank verification number
√ Applicants must be between the age of 18 to 35 years.
√ Applicants must be innovative, creative & talented.
√ Applicants must be free from any form of conviction in the last ten years.
√ Applicants must be ready to supply their personal information
√ Applicants must possess a valid means of identification as well as local government certificate of indigene.
How to apply for the Nigeria youth investment fund 2022
- The first thing is to visit their official portal at www.nyif.nmfb.com.ng then click on apply here to proceed.
- Thereafter fill in your personal details such as your name and bank verification number.
- If your Bvn has been verified, your date of birth will load automatically on the next page. All you have to do is to just fill in your phone number, email address and your gender.
- The next step is to fill in your residential details, thereafter crosscheck your details before moving to the next step.
- The next step is to select the geopolitical zone you belong to.
- Then, select the state and home of the local government of your state.
- Then input your highest educational level, then click on the “Next” button to move to the last page.
- Click on the training centre you want.
- Then submit your application.
Note: All shortlisted candidates will be informed through their email or phone call/text when they are eventually shortlisted for the loan.

- Then login with your details
- Lastly, click on check loan status to know if you have been shortlisted or not.
